That’s the time I have to get everything ready for the wedding!

Yeah, it’s kinda rush I know…. and no lah, I’m not pregnant! What were you all thinking!

We’re going to have a small wedding (ie. no friends or relatives from SG will attend! BOO HOO HOO!) so I guess it’s not going to be a nightmare putting everything together!

Anyway, we got:

1. Rings from ebay (they are new, not used hor). Anyway.. we got a pair of celtic rings cos he’s celtic. They are lovely i think. And his ring finger is so fat and it’s too big for my thumb! LOL!

2. A wedding dress off ebay. Also new. I hope it fits! It’d better be cos i gave them my measurements! Was gutted the one I saw at Debenhams didn’t have my size!! GRRR

3. Booked the restaurant. We’re going for Indian! Yahoo! Cos am sick of Italian food and the chinese restaurants here suck. We like that Indian place and they know us so we get good price! And it’s going to be all paid for by his mum. YAY.

4. Booked the makeup lady who apparently has won a BAFTA before!

Hmm i guess that just leaves us with:

1. Hire a suit for Husband to be! (HEE HEE). It’d be nice to see him in a Frock Suit!

2. Finalised the wedding stuff with the registrar.

Hold on.. is that all? I’m sure there are some more stuff to do…

Oh yes..

3. We need to find a witness! 2 actually! but that’s not going to be a problem.

Well i think we’re ready.. really.. or are we? hmmm. I don’t think much will change after we get married cos we’ve been living together for quite a while and we got used to each other’s sickening habits (hehe). ..so i guess we’ll be fine! hehe

Spoke to my mum today and told her about my plans too and she said as long as I’ve thought about it and have made my decision, she’s not going to stop me since I’m not young anymore! So i guess she has, as what my future mother-in-law said.. “reconciled with the fact that I am going to marry a big white blob!”

HAHAHAHAHAHA

-edit-

I forgot about the wedding shoes! I will get them online i guess.. not too keen on going to the bridal boutiques here… don’t like being served by over enthusiastic sale staff…

no lah.. it’s a singaporean! hahaha

So we, Singapoeans, are the fastest walkers in the world!

No wonder…

I’ve been wondering why the Londoners are walking so slow! I’m always wondering to myself, “Why these ang mohs walk so slow? I need to get to work leh!!”.. and then of course i always end up early at work.. cos I walk fast mah… hohoho

Last Thursday, after doing a site survey in the city, I took the tube back to the office. It was about 9.30am and there were still many people trying to get to work..so the tube was quite crowded and I was carrying a backpack with me cos of all the equipment i had to lug around! Anyway, people were trying to get into the tube and I had to move in..and so I did.. and then i felt someone pushing me. I didn’t move much (cos I can’t!) and then i felt it again. Someone pushing me real hard from the back! So i turned around and there was this grumpy young chinese lady who glared at me and said “Can you not push me please?” GRRRR. I was quite annoyed because 1. I didn’t mean to push her! And I didn’t know my backpack was “pushing” her! 2. It’s the morning peak period what do you expect?? Get a cab if you don’t like to be pushed or touched!!! 3. I didn’t even had space then to move/put my backpack on the floor!Geez! What did she expect travelling in a crowded tube in the morning? A whole cabin to herself? Really! And I hate it when i’m being told off or scolded for something I didn’t mean to do especially in the morning!! She could have been nicer and said something like.. excuse me, your bag is in the way or something! Anyway, i told her “Well, I didn’t mean to! Bitch!” hehe. I said the word bitch quite softly but loud enough for her to hear! I hope she gets pushed around everytime she’s in a tube! Grrrr

We’ve recently bought a Wii from ebay at a very good price and have been playing every weekend. It’s really great fun!  I had so much fun playing tennis, golf, baseball, bowling and boxing! I played so much over the weekend that I end up having to go to work with a  wii arm! i.e. an aching right arm!

Oh yeah, playing on the wii gives me a really good workout.. It can be quite tiring sometimes especially boxing!!

So now my exercise routine is playing wii and spending 30min a day on the OSIM Uzap King on my tummy and 30min on my thighs every weekend! hehehe and occasionally a walk with the dogs and boyfriend of course.

I now have to remind myself to always warm up before I get on the Wii! hehehe

1. You feel irritated when you hear that male journalist on CNA speaking in an American accent
2. You say “Cheers!” to the hawker instead of “Thank you” or “Xie Xie”
3. You think that you can’t get any mobile phone reception when you’re in the MRT. (You can’t get any reception in the London Underground!)
4. You weren’t sure if you need to scan your EZLINK card before you alight the bus (You only scan your oyster card once when you board the bus in London)
5. You feel weird when people are standing really close to you! (I was waiting for my bak chor mee (I forgot to say i dun want tur kwa! but anyway..) and this lady was standing really close to me. When i moved away, she moved closer, she thought i was Queuing i think..but when i move away she followed me again!)
6. You keep wanting to press the “record” or “i” button on the remote control like what you’d do with SKY TV!
