I’ve been a lady of leisure for 3 weeks and tomorrow i’ll be going back to the grind and be a commuter! Boo hoo hoo!

Also, i have to use the Northern line now! I hate travelling on the Northern Line..because it’s going to be more crowded… and it’s getting warmer (with the exception of this week) and I hate to be in the tube with sweaty people! Eeeek!

But the thought of working from 9am to 5pm makes me happy hehehe.. so I guess it’s not too bad.. I’m looking forward to starting my new job! Yahooo…

Oh…I don’t know what to wear to work tomorrow..hmmm

Last night, I was watching the Jap horror movie – One Missed Call with Husband.

It was a bit scary for me…. It’s about these people getting missed calls from their own numbers and then die mysteriously!

While watching halfway..at the most exciting part, my phone rang!!

I screamed and was going “OH NO!!!! AAHHHH!”

And then i realised… Husband was playing a prank on me! LOL!

It was so funny! We laughed for a whole minute i think!

Now I must think of a way to get back at Husband… muahahaha

The big day is over now! It’s weird that I now have a husband! hehe and everytime I look at him and the ring that he’s wearing, i can’t help but giggle to myself! hehehe

I was caught 3 times for referring to him as my boyfriend yesterday! LOL!

———————————–

It was a cloudy day that day.. not too cold….it rained a little too after the ceremony..

Makeup lady took a bit longer than expected to do my hair and makeup. So we had to rush to the registry office. I ran to the car, in my wedding gown and with my sports jacket over it haha and also i was wearing my birkenstock because no way am i going to run in a pair of 4 inch heels! Of course, i changedto my heels in the car! I don’t want to be late and miss my wedding!! And guess what? I forgot to bring my bouquet of flowers! LOL! Called MIL’s handphone and she didn’t answer! Called the home phone and no one answered! Husband was so stressed! There was a bit of an effing moment for him but I sat in the car laughing cos i thought it was so funny! Luckily, everyone at home noticed the bride left the bouquet of flowers at home and brought it along. So all was fine! Phew!

The ceremony was great. There were times when I wanted to cry but the thought of me with panda eyes stopped me!

So.. anyway… i walked down the aisle and kept stepping on my skirt! Suddenly it seems so long! So i made my way.. slowly, down the aisle to Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely” at the background while trying not to trip!

We made the vows, exchanged the rings, signed the register and posed for some photos. Made our way out to Barry White’s “I’m Qualified to Statisfy You”. So that’s it, I’m married! It was really fun. Everyone wanted to dance along!

We went to our favourite indian restaurant for a meal and the owner bought us champagne. It was so nice. I could’t eat too much cos the bodice was a bit tight! hahaha. I wanted to loosen it but i didn’t want to risk exposing my boobs! I still managed to eat quite a lot and also drank a lot!

We went home to take more pictures in the garden with everyone and in the evening we all had a BBQ. It was really nice especially when the sun is out and everyone is more relaxed. I was also glad to be out of the gown and the 4 inch heels hehe.

I enjoyed myself a lot eventhough my family wasn’t there. Everyone had lots of fun and so did I! There were lots of boozing too. I laughed when i heard the bin man emptying our bin today. I could hear the wine and beer bottles being emptied and it seemed like it was never going to end!

A friend told me I have to start behaving like a wife now.. and i asked how.. he said I have to be grumpy, put rollers in my hair and put on 140lbs! LOL! I don’t think I can do that.. well i can be grumpy but not sure of the other 2.

Anyway, Husband is out at work now and I have been a good wife. I’ve changed the bed sheets all by myself! Normally I couldn’t do it because the bed was too heavy and it’s hard to change it but today i managed to do it!!

I going to cook dinner for us too! He has been the one cooking for me everyday! So today’s my turn!  Also, with my new job that lets me work from 9 to 5, i guess there will be more chance for me to cook for us!

OK.. i better get started on my wife duties! hahaha

Oh and thanks everyone for the well wishes! 🙂

is THE DAY!

I’m now waiting for the makeup lady. I’ve showered and everything so I don’t know what else to do!!

I’m a little bit nerouvs and very excited. H2B is worried that he might stepped on my skirt and then i’ll trip over and he’ll end up on top of me while we’re walking down the aisle! hahaha.

I called my mother yesterday and she reminded me to pick 4 numbers for her so she can get the 4D! That’s my mum for you! hahaha. I better get the numbers ready so i can pick them when i come back.

Oh.. and Thanks again everyone for your well wishes! 🙂

Er.. ok.. i think i’ll better get ready now. hehe 🙂 See ya!

I was watching Lonely Planet’s Six Degree or something like that on tv…and in that episode there was a section on Chinese wedding / tea ceremony. I taped it so my H2B (that’s husband to be! hehe) can watch it and know what he has to go through!

FIL2B (that’s Father in law to be!) was around..and has been asking me about chinese weddings .. so i showed it to him and we watched it together. He’s getting excited about the chinese wedding! I hope he’s not disappointed that the tea we served during the chinese tea ceremony is not the tea he’s been drinking here – lots of milk and sugar! hahaha

I’m so tired now.. i have not been sleeping well for the past couple of days! Guess i’m too excited? and nervous?

This is really cool!

I might use this piece of music for the Assembly of guest.. hmmm.. I really like the rock version! But the average age of my guests is about… 50? LOL! There are lots of old people there…

I need music/songs for the assembly of guests (3 to 4 songs), entrance of the bride (one song), signing of the register (2 or 3) and the exit (1 song).

We still can’t decide what songs/music we want. Should we stick to the classical music? Hmmm

My future mother-in-law thinks I should walk down the aisle to Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t she lovely”. But i prefer Clay Aiken’s version but i can’t seem to find it anywhere! I’m also thinking of Love by John Lennon but it’s a bit like too slow…. (listening to it now makes me want to cry lol) and also The look of love by Dusty Springfield.

Oh..I will be walking down the aisle with my Husband (to be!).. No one will be giving me away 😦 I wish my mum will be here.. boo hoo hoo. Ah well, we can do this again in Singapore LOL.

My future brother in law says that if the entrance of the bride is Isn’t She Lovely, then his brother deserves to have the song, Mr Bombastic! HAHAHAHA SO funny.

7 days to you if you’re reading this from Singapore!

Anyway…

Was reading a wedding magazine the other day at Nero. There was a section for the groom. It talks about the different kind of suits that you can wear, ties and waistcoats etc. And then comes the last line “Just remember to check with your bride before you buy or hire.”

LOL. I really like that.

Anyway.. not too long to go now! I’m still taking it easy! Guess the nerves have not kicked in yet! Also, still a bit gutted no one from home can make it.. cos it’s such short notice! hehe. Ah well..at least i’m still going to have the banquet in Singapore! But dunno when. I told a friend of mine from here that I’m having 2 weddings! And he said that’s almost a bigamy! hohoho

Guess we got everything now… we’ve been like quite lazy and have not prepared much cos I guess it’s such a small wedding so there’s not much organising to do.. i think!

The only thing that I gotta do now is to burn the wedding songs to a CD! Oh and also to practice walking on my 4 inch heels! I think i can dance in it now! lol. Oh and also to make sure the tailor has not forget about my fiance’s suit! Why hasn’t the tailor called to ask us to go for a fitting?? Better call him tomorrow….

Now, have i really done most of the things I’m supposed to do?? Hmmmm…

I wanted a rose wand as my wedding “bouquet” for my wedding. It’s oh so gorgeous. But.. it’s very labour intensive too. Got the quote today.. and it costs £175! Just for a rose, some tinted leaves and also a bamboo stick. I can’t justify the cost of it… i mean i know it’s labour intensive but.. 175quid for A rose that will die in a few days… I’m not so sure it’s worth it. So… i’m not getting that. Probably, will get that for the Singapore wedding! But I’ll definitely get some for my nieces cos i’m going to make them my bridesmaid/flowergirl! So.. no Rose Wand for now. I’ll be getting a bouquet of white roses.. or maybe .. peonies.. or maybe the lilies! Argh! I have to make up my mind tomorrow.. The florist is so patient! I think she’ll be happy once i’ve made up my mind!

Anyway…

I was chatting to one of my girlfriends the other day and she think that I should just get it (rose wand) because .. it’s my wedding and it only happens once (if i stay happily married that is but i am sure we will! actually, i’ll be having 2 weddings.. another one in sg next year or the year after!). She thinks I’m a niao piao (stingy)! hahaha! She said she’ll choose the most expensive stuff… but to me, expensive doesn’t mean it’s good. I need to justify the cost and see if it’s worth it or not. KNow what I mean?

I asked my fiance if he thinks I’m stingy. He said no. He said I’m careful with my money on stuff… but sometimes..not so, on bags and clothes! hahahaha.

So the only think that I need to do for the wedding is to confirm the flowers and also the wedding music (I think!). My fiance and I love Barry White a lot.. so i think one of our songs will be a Barry White song! LOL! It’s going to be so funny.. I think we’ll end up dancing to Barry White’s “You’re the first, my last, my everything” on the aisle! LOL! We decided not to have the wedding march in our music list cos we think it’s too cheesy… but Barry White is not! HAHAHA

I’m looking forward to my wedding! But at the same time nervous.. cos all eyes will be on ME!! :-0

I’ve finally finished playing the whole of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorny on my DS lite. (It’s such a great game!) So now, i’ve started playing on Super Mario!

I get so excited playing it.. and annoyed when Mario falls down and die.. or get hit by those irritating creatures.. whatever they are called! I screamed when it happens… I get very noisy playing it… Sometimes I feel stressed too hahaha.. i don’t know why..but I can feel my heart beating really fast! I’m now at world 2! So i think this game can last me the whole week..before i start work again!

Oh, i better spend some time with my Wii too… i’ve not played it for quite some time…
